The Story

This Page will be a depository of links to all the recaps so far in the game...each session will have a super short version (here), a short version and a long version upon clicking the link.  This will be updated on a regular basis.
  1. The Beginning: The First Session, introducing the basic concept of the game, the team and the first mission in Minas Tirith.
  2. Minas Tirith: Shopkeeper Bill's plans for Ardwinna are discovered and thwarted and the team defeats some Bandits while bonding as a team.
  3. Lily von Skull: The Team finds Treebrain, the Sword of Light and has its first death.  And Lily Von skull is fought and defeated.
  4. The Path of the Dead and Paradise: The Team finds out about Paradise at an inn, talks with the Orcs there and gains more artifacts.
  5. Edoras: The team's winning steak ends, as the team gets its ass kicked by the Lich-King in the tombs of Edoras.
  6. Helm's Deep: The Princess nearly get captured, but the team acquires numerous artifacts.
  7. The Black Knight: The Team fights and loses to the Black Knight, the Former King of Numenor, and is captured.
  8. First flight to Mordor: More or less allied with King Akmentu, the team is granted control of an airship with Mia in command and sails to Mordor, where they collect four new artifacts.
  9.  More Mordor: The party hunts down several more artifacts, and conflict ensues when party members disagree about the destruction of the most dangerous ones, including a mace that Walter finds most tempting.
  10. Lich King, Round Two: With Mordor scraped clean of artifacts, everyone hops back on the airship and flies to rendezvous with Akmentu in preparation for the second, and hopefully decisive, battle against the Lich King.
  11. Bombadil and Goldberry: Akmentu tells us of the existence of what may be the most powerful artifact of them all, and we set off to find it, with only one potential drawback: it is in the hands of a Maiar.
  12. The Shire, and Home: With the help of Ardwinna's status and a most unexpected group of new allies, the party secures two new artifacts in the Shire and, for the first time in weeks, gets to go home.
